Republic Services Closes Offices, But Services Uninterrupted

With the coronavirus posing a threat to communities across the country, I wanted to reach out to ensure that you are aware of the steps Republic Services is taking to keep our employees and customers safe and healthy during this uncertain time.

Safety is Republic’s number one priority. We pride ourselves on crisis preparedness and business continuity planning and execution. It’s our objective to keep people safe and healthy while continuing to provide superior service and support to our customers. 

Republic Services is taking the coronavirus seriously. We are closely monitoring CDC, FEMA and local, state and federal guidance.

We are confident in our preparations and ability to handle the situation should our employees or operations be impacted by the virus, and as a valued partner, it is our commitment to keep you informed.

As a precaution to the public and to our employees, we are recommending that our offices will be closed to the public, effective March 17, 2020. Customers may call 503-981-1278 with questions about their service. Trash, Recycling and Yard Debris collection will be uninterrupted and will follow regularly scheduled routes.

As the situation evolves, it’s important that we stay connected and aligned, so that Republic can best serve you and your residents.
